To Do List & Schedule

This section describes how to enter records for a daily schedule, an anni-
versary, a general to do list, a to do list for a specific date, and a
reminder alarm and how to recall them.

To edit a to do list and schedule record, see "Editing a Record" on Faxback
Doc. # 45494.  To delete to do list and schedule records, see "Deleting a
Record" on Faxback Doc. # 45494.

Entering To Do List and Schedule Records

1.  Press ENTER.

2.  Press TO DO LIST & SCHEDULE. You see:

          DATE:            MM-DD-YY
          TIME:          HH: MM A/P
          MEMO:
          TO BYPASS DATE, PRESS RTN
          TO CREATE AN ANNIVERSARY
             TYPE "AN" FOR "YY"

3.  Type in the scheduled month, date, year and time, if desired.  Press A
    for AM or P for PM.

    Notes: You must use two-digit numbers for dates and times.

           If you type in an invalid date or time, a blank entry line
           reappears.

To create a repeating daily schedule record, press RETURN to bypass the
date.  Type in the even time and follow the instructions on the display.
The organizer displays the time and memo in the To Do/Schedule Index to
remind you of a daily repeated event (such as lunch) with or without an
alarm.

To create an anniversary record, type AN for the year and follow the
instructions on the display.  The organizer displays the anniversary infor-
mation on the To Do/Schedule index for the annual date entered.

To enter a date from the calendar, press MONTHLY CALENDAR. Then use the <,
>, /\, \/, NEXT or LAST keys to quickly locate a specific day, and press
ENTER.  The date appears in the date field.

To create a general to do list, press RETURN twice to bypass both the date
and time.  This list appears in the TO DO/Schedule index with TO DO: on the
date/time line.

To create a to do list for a specific date (an unrepeated, untimed schedule
record), press RETURN to by pass the time.  The organizer displays the memo
in the To Do/Schedule Index for that day.

4.  To set a reminder alarm, press DAILY ALARMS.

    To keep the alarm date and time, press Y.  To change the alarm date and
    time, press N, type in the desired date and time, then press RETURN.
    The organizer displays the scheduled date and time with a bell icon
    (bell symbol).

5.  Type information into the memo field.

    Notes: You must type information into the memo field or the organizer
           will not store the record.

           Press RETURN to start a new line.

           The memo field can hold up to 54 lines of information. The maxi-
           mum length for the first line is 18 characters; the following 52
           lines, 24 characters each; and the last line, 23 characters.

6.  To store more to do list and schedule records, press ENTER to store the
    record and repeat Steps 3-5.

    To enter another mode, press any mode key to store the record and go to
    that mode.

    Note: If you do not type information into the memo field, INVALID FILE
          appears and the record is not stored.

Recalling To Do List and Schedule Records

From the To Do/Schedule Index

Press TO DO LIST & SCHEDULE.  The to do lists appear first on the To Do/
Schedule Index, followed by the lists of scheduled events.

Notes: If there are no to do list and schedule records, a blank To Do/
       Schedule Index appears.

       To recall a specific schedule record, type in the entire schedule
       date for that record.  For example, type 110597 for the record dated
       November 5, 1997. The first record containing the digits you entered
       appears on the top two lines of the display.

       If there are no schedule records for the recalled date, NO FILE MATCH
       PLEASE TRY AGAIN appears.

       Press \/, /\, NEXT or LAST to review other records in date and time
       order.

       If the record is longer than two lines, press RETURN. Then press \/,
       /\, NEXT or LAST to move through the memo information.  To return to
       the To Do/Schedule Index at any time, press TO DO LIST & SCHEDULE.

From the Calendar Screen

A dot to the right of a date on the calendar means there is a to do list &
schedule record for that date.

1.  Press MONTHLY CALENDAR to enter the calendar.

    The calendar for the current month appears with the current date flash-
    ing (see "Monthly Calendar" on Faxback Doc. # 45495).

    To scroll through the calendar one month at a time, press NEXT or LAST.

    To scroll through the calendar one year at a time, press + or -.

    To scroll rapidly through the calendar, hold down + or -.

2.  Hold down <, >, /\ or \/ to move to the desired schedule record's date,
    then press TO DO LIST & SCHEDULE or RETURN.  The corresponding schedule
    record appears with a selection arrow (>) to the left of the date.

    Notes: Press \/ to view additional schedule records for the chosen date.

           If the record is longer than two lines, press RETURN. Then press
           \/ to move down or /\ to move up through the memo information one
           line at a time.

3.  Press TO DO LIST & SCHEDULE to return to the To Do/Schedule Index.
