Daily Alarm

You can set an alarm for the same time every day or for a specific date and
time.

When the set alarm time is reached, the EC-382 sounds an alarm for 1 minute
and DAILY ALARM, the set time, and alarm date (if set) appear. If there is
a schedule record stored with the alarm, that record appears. You can press
any key to stop the alarm.

Note: If you are entering or editing a record when the alarm sounds, the
EC-382 exits the data entry mode without storing the changes. You
      must enter the information again.

If you do not stop the alarm, when the organizer automatically returns to
the date and time display, ALARM MISSED, CHECK INDEX appears to remind you
that a set alarm time occurred. To clear the message, press any mode key,
then recall the daily alarm if desired (see "Recalling Daily Alarms" below).

This section describes how to enter daily alarms and recall them. To edit a
daily alarm record, see "Editing a Record" on Faxback Doc. # 45494. To
delete a daily alarm record see "Deleting a Record" on Faxback Doc. # 45494.

Entering Daily Alarms

1. Press ENTER.

2. Press DAILY ALARMS. You see:

           ALARM DATE: MM-DD-YY
           ALARM TIME: HH: MM A/P

             TO ENTER A DAILY ALARM

3. Follow the instructions on the display to enter a daily alarm or an
alarm for a specific date and time.

Notes: You must use two-digit numbers for dates and times. For example,
to enter the date and time for June 14, 1997, at 1:15 in the
afternoon, you would type 061497 for the date and 0115 for the
time followed by a P (for PM).

If you type in invalid digits (for example, 32 for the day), the
organizer clears what you entered and flashes the first charac-
           ter. Type the digits again.

4. Press RETURN. The alarm time is stored and the Daily Alarm Index
appears showing the alarm entries for the current day.
