The clock/planner uses three AAA batteries.  We recommend you use alkaline
batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.

    NOTE:  When the display dims or the sound weakens, replace the
           batteries.

1.  Slide VOICE ON/OFF to OFF.

2.  Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it off in the
    direction of the arrow.

3.  Remove the old batteries and install fresh ones, as shown by the
    polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the compartment.

4.  Replace the battery compartment cover.
