REMOVING THE BATTERY INSULATION SLIPS
Your EC-366 comes with two battery insulation slips, designed to preserve
battery power. Before you use the EC-366, you must remove the battery
insulation slips.
Each battery slip has a tab that extends outside the battery compartment
cover. To remove the slips, grasp each tab and firmly pull on it to slide
the slip out of the battery compartment.
Note: If you are unable, to easily slide a slip out of the compartment,
or if you are not sure the entire slip was removed, you can open
the battery compartment cover to remove the slips.
OPENING/CLOSING THE COVER
The EC-366's keys are protected by a cover to avoid damage or unwanted
input. To open the cover, press down on the recessed tab and lift the cover
so it stands upright.
To close the cover, simply press it down until it locks into place.
