(650-0720) Features Faxback Doc. # 40595

Your Radio Shack EC-388 Data Directory combines several reference tools into
one compact and easy-to-use package and it is ideal for home or business
use, for students, or for anyone with an active lifestyle. Your EC-388 comes
with a soft case and has these features:

Phone Directory - each phone directory record provides two 24-character
lines: one for storing your contact's name and other information, and
another for storing up to two phone numbers.

Secret Function - lets you store confidential phone directory records using
your personal password, preventing unauthorized access to your private
records.

Tab Function - lets you enter a tab to divide the data you store on each
line of a phone directory record (to distinguish between work and home
names/numbers for example), then easily view the divided data separately on
the display when you recall that record.

Start-Up-Message - lets you store and automatically display a personal
message for about 2 seconds each time you turn on the EC-388.

Time Calculation - lets you easily add or subtract hours, minutes and
seconds to calculate time differences.

10-Digit Calculator - performs memory, percentage, constant and standard
arithmetic calculations.

Conversion Feature - preset values lets you convert between common metric
and English measurements (such as centimeters and inches). Additional memory
lets you store and convert between up to three other pairs of values (such
as U.S. dollars and a foreign currency).

Automatic Power Off - automatically turns off the EC-388 to conserve battery
power if you do not press a button for about 7 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Tandy Corporation assumes no responsibility for any loss or

misuse. You should maintain physical records of important infor-
mation to protect against such loss.
