UNLOCKING THE RECORDER

Before using the Digital Voice Memo Recorder, slide UNLOCK/LOCK on the
back to UNLOCK.  To prevent accidental operation after recording, set
UNLOCK/LOCK back to LOCK.


RECORDING

1.  Press and hold RECORD as you speak in a clear voice about 4 inches
    away from the microphone.  A bar appears on the time indicator for
    every second you use.

2.  Release RECORD to stop recording.

    NOTE:  The maximum recording time is 20 seconds for all messages.
           If you reach 20 seconds while you are recording, the recorder
           stops continuously, reminding you to release RECORD.

3.  Repeat Steps 1 to 2 to record another message.  The number of messages
    appears at the upper left of the display and the current message
    number appears at the upper right.  The time bars from previous
    messages remain on the display, with arrows to the right of the time
    bars to indicate the current message.


PLAYING MESSAGES

Playing a Message

Repeatedly press PLAY until the desired message number appears.  The
arrows to the right of the time bars appear next to each message as it is
played and then disappear.


Playing All Messages

Press and hold PLAY until the recorder beeps continuously.  The recorder
plays all the recorder messages.


ERASING MESSAGES

Erasing a Message

Repeatedly press PLAY until the desired message number appears.  The
message plays.  Press ERASE.  The recorder beeps and erases the message,
and the display skips to the next message number.

NOTES:  When a message is deleted, the recorder skips to the next message.

        If the recording memory is full, you must delete the last message
        recorded or delete all messages before you can record new
        messages.

        Erasing any message other than the last one does not update
        the total message counter.


Erasing All Messages

Press and hold ERASE until the recorder beeps twice.  All time bars
disappear and 0 0 appears, indicating all messages are deleted.
