Your Radio Shack Digital Voice Memo Recorder is small and easy-to-use.
It lets you record multiple messages, such phone numbers, parking
locations, grocery lists, or any short messages, up to a total of 20
seconds.

It's convenient to carry with you anywhere you go, and its liquid crystal
display lets you easily keep track of your messages.


PREPARATION

REMOVING THE INSULATOR

Your Memo Recorder comes with an insulator to prevent battery drain during
shipping.  Before using the recorder, you must remove the insulator.

1.  Slide off the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow
    and lift the top end up.

2,  Remove the batteries and insulator.  Discard the insulator as shown.

3.  Handling the batteries by their edges, replace them with their
    positive (+) sides up.

4.  Replace the cover.

5.  Press RESET on the back of the Memo Recorder with the tip of a
    straightened paper clip.

    NOTE:  You must reset the Memo Recorder each time you replace the
           batteries.


IMPORTANT NOTE

As you are using your Digital Voice Memo Recorder, if you press any button
and do not hear a beep, press the button again.
