Before you begin, install 2 AAA alkaline batteries.

CAUTION:  DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS WHILE INSTALLING BATTERIES.

Once the word BATTERY appears on the display, you will not be able to use your Pocket Organizer until you change the batteries.

To change the batteries, first press the Clock button to save the current time.  Then change the batteries.  Your appointments or phone numbers are safe even without batteries.  Only the time and date may need to be set when power is restored.
