Resetting Your Pocket Organizer

If your Pocket Organizer doesn't seem to be working, you can reset it with-
out losing your memos, appointments and phone numbers.  Press the Reset
button on the back of the unit.

CAUTION:  DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER BUTTONS WHILE PUSHING THE RESET BUTTON.

If your Pocket Organizer still does not work, or you want to erase every-
thing in it-all your memos, appointments, phone book and your voice recog-
nition setup, hold down the Erase button while you press (and release) the
Reset button on the back of the unit.

Display Messages and Troubleshooting

MESSAGE                 PROBLEM

"BATTERY"               You won't be able to use your Pocket Organizer
                        until you change the batteries, but all of your
                        memos, appointments and phone numbers are safe.

"DATE ERR"              There is no such date, i.e.; such as February 30.

"FULL" or "NO MORE"     Your Pocket Organizer's memory is full.  Erase some
                        messages to make room for more.

"MEM BAD"               Something is wrong with your Pocket Organizer.

"NO CHANGE"             The time of your appointment was not changed.  Say
                        the time again, making sure you say at least the
                        hour and a.m. or p.m.

"OVER 20"               Your phone book holds 20 names and numbers in each
                        half (A-K and L-Z).  Erase an entry or store your
                        new one in the other half.

"TOO MANY"              Your Pocket Organizer will hold 60 memos and
                        appointments.  Erase some messages to make room for
                        more.

"TRAIN"                 Set up Voice recognition as described in Faxback
                        Doc. # 38814 (Operation).
