Controls

1.  Clock

Press during any operation to return to the current date and time or hold
down to change the time and date.  (The Clock button works as a quick save
in any activity.)

2.  Calendar

Hold down to attach a time and date to a memo, or say a date you want to
look at.

3.  Microphone

Hold your Pocket Organizer 6-8 inches from your mouth and talk directly
into it.

Press to play memos, or in the Calendar to move forward through appointment
dates.

5.  <

Press to play memos, or in the Calendar to move backward through appointment
dates.

6.  Rec

Hold down to record memos.

7.  Phone

Press to ask for a phone number by name or hold down (after getting double
beep with the Edit button) to record a new name and number.

8.  Edit

Press to manually change times and phone numbers, or hold down in the Phone
book to enter a new name.

9.  Erase

Hold down to delete a memo or an appointment or to delete a digit when
manually editing a phone number.

Display Icons

ICON                             MEANING

Memo (letter page symbol)        You're recording or playing a memo.

Battery (battery symbol)         Time to change your batteries.

Phone (phone symbol)             You're ready to enter or retrieve a phone
                                 number.

Calendar (calendar symbol)       You're ready to browse your calendar or
                                 review an appointment.

Memory (numbers)                 The percent of memory you have available
                                 flashes when you begin to record.

Single Bell (1 bell symbol)      You have at least one appointment on this
                                 date.

Double Bell (2 bell symbols)     You have a recurring appointment on this
                                 date.
