USING THE CLOCK
The organizer features a built-in clock that does the following:
Displays the current monthly calendar in the calendar mode.
Keeps track of the items scheduled for the current day in the scheduler
mode (automatic tracking)
Sounds the schedule alarm
DISPLAYING THE TIME
Press and hold down [CLOCK] to display the current date and time. When
you release CLOCK, the display returns to the previous mode.
Th organizer dispalys the time when you press [CLOCK]. The internal clock
continues to count, but the display does not change.
SETTING THE CLOCK
The organizer can display time in either an AM/PM or a military format.
In the AM/PM format, the organizer displays hours as a number between 01
and 12, and the time is followed by AM or PM. In the military format, the
organizer displays the hours as a number between 00 and 23.
Follow this example to set the clock to January 10, 1992, 1:30 PM.
1. Press [SHIFT] [CLOCK].
2. Select the time format. The number highlighted in the lower left
corner of the screen indicates the time format. 12 indicates an AM/PM
format; 24 indicates a military format. Press 1224 to alternate
between 12 and 24.
3. Enter the hour and minute. You must precede one-digit hours and
minutes with 0--01, 02, and so on. Set the clock 1 or 2 minutes ahead
of the current time. Enter AM or PM if you used the AM/PM format.
4. Enter the month, date, and year in the mm/dd/yyyy format. You must
precede one-digit months and dates with 0--01, 02, and so on.
5. At the precise time signal (radio or telephone time service), press
[ENTER]. The clock starts counting from 00 seconds.
6. Check the set time on the display.
When you use the AM/PM format, noon, and midnight changes are displayed as
below.
11:59AM --> 12:00PM (noon) --> 12:59PM --> 1:00PM --> 11:59PM -->
12:00AM (midnight) --> 12:59AM --> 1:00AM --> 11:59AM
CORRECTING THE TIME
To correct the time, follow the procedure in "Setting the Clock."
