REMOVING THE BATTERY INSULATOR

Before you can use your organizer, you must remove the battery insulator
from the battery compartment (located in the rear) by  grasping it and
pulling it away from the organizer.

OPENING THE CASE

Gently press in on the button on the center front of the cover, then lift
open the cover.

TURNING THE ORGANIZER ON AND OFF

Press ON/OFF to turn on the organizer, then press the correct function key
to enter the mode you want.  Press ON/OFF again to turn off the organizer.

To conserve battery power, the organizer automatically turns off after
about 6 minutes of non-use.

TURNING THE KEY TONE ON AND OFF

To set your organizer to sound a tone each time you press a key, select the
TIME mode, then press TONE (V).  A beep sounds, and a musical note appears
when the key tone is on.

To turn off the key tone, press TONE (V) again.  The musical note
disappears.

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

1.  Press PROG.  LON (London) appears on the top right corner of the
    screen, and the seconds digits flash.

2.  Press SEARCH up/down until your city's name code appears on the
    display.  See "Viewing World Times" for city name codes.

    NOTE:  If your city is not listed, use a city in the same time zone as
           yours.

3.  Press the right arrow key.  The first digit in the month flashes.

4.  Press the left or right arrow keys to move backward or forward to the
    digit you want to change.  Use the number keys to enter the month, day
    of the month, year, hours, minutes, and seconds.

5.  Press 12/24 to set the clock to 12- or 24-hour format.  AM appears on
    the display in the 12-hour format.

6.  In the 12-hour format, press AM/FM (X) to choose AM or PM.

7.  Press DCT (C) to turn Daylight Savings time on or off.

8.  Press ENTER to store the date and time.

NOTE:  If the information you enter is invalid (for example, you enter 15
       for the month), the first month digit on the display flashes after
       you press ENTER.  Re-enter the correct digit, then press ENTER.

VIEWING WORLD TIMES

Once you set your home time, you can follow these steps to view the time in
32 cities around the world.

1.  Press TIME (once if you are in the time mode or twice if you are in
    another mode).  The date and time in the last selected city appear on
    the display.

2.  Repeatedly press SEARCH up/down to select the city you want.

3.  Press DST (C) to turn on or off Daylight Saving Time.

NOTES:  If you have already turned on Daylight Saving Time, the organizer
        automatically adjusts the time of all world cities accordingly.

        Not all cities use Daylight Saving Time.
