MAIN MENU AND FUNCTION SCREENS

The main menu screen appears when you turn on the EC-359.  To return to the
main menu screen at any time, press MENU.  The main menu screen lets you
select any of the EC-359's seven functions, see the illustrations in
Faxback Doc. #17261.

You can select a function in one of two ways.

    Press MENU, then press the function's button to the right of the 
    display.

    When you select the function, the screen for that function appears.

    Press MENU, repeatedly press < (REV or REVERSE), > (FWD or FORWARD),
    the solid ^, or the solid v to highlight the function icon you want to 
    use, then press the return key (RECALL OR RETURN).

TURNING ON THE EC-359

Press MENU to turn on the EC-359.  The display shows the main menu screen.

To conserve battery power, the EC-359 automatically turns itself off if you
do not press a button for about 3 minutes.
