USING THE DAILY ALARM

You can set the daily alarm to sound at the time you set.  When the alarm
is turned on, the EC-359 beeps for about 1 minute at the set time (even if
the EC-359 is off).  Press any button to silence the alarm sooner.  The
alarm sounds at the same time the next day, unless you turn if off.

NOTE:  Because pressing any key turns off the alarm, the alarm might not
       sound if you are entering information at the set alarm time.

SETTING THE DAILY ALARM TIME

NOTE:  You must press 0 before any single-digit numbers.

1.  Press SYSTEM.

2.  Press the solid v once, then press ENTER.  The alarm hour's first digit
    flashes.

3.  Use the number keys to enter the alarm time.

4.  Press A or P to set the alarm time to AM to PM.

5.  Press the return key (RECALL or RETURN) to store the alarm time.

    NOTES:  If you enter invalid digits (for example, 14 for the hour or 67
            for the minute), the EC-359 beeps and the first digit of the
            alarm hour flashes.  Repeat Steps 3-5 to enter the correct
            alarm time.

            You can also press > (FWD or FORWARD) to change other system
            settings.

6.  Press MENU to return to the main menu screen.

TURNING THE DAILY ALARM ON AND OFF

1.  Press SYSTEM

2.  Press the solid v once, then press > (FWD or FORWARD) once.  A flashing
    arrow appears next to the alarm off icon (a bell with a slash through  
    it) on the display.

    NOTE:  You can also press < (REV or REVERSE) to change other system
           settings.

3.  Press SPACE to turn the alarm on or off. The alarm on icon (a bell)  
    appears to right of the flashing arrow when the alarm is on, and an 
    alarm off icon appears when the alarm is off.

4.  Press MENU to return to the main menu screen.
