We do not expect you to have any problems with your phone, but if you do, 
the following suggestions might help.

Problem:                    Suggestion

The phone does not work or  Be sure the base's phone line cord and AC

                            adapter, wait 15 seconds, then plug in the
                            adapter again.

If the base loses power while the handset is off of it, the security 
access-protection code might change. Restore power to the base, then place 
the handset back on the base and leave it there for a few seconds.

If you still have problems, disconnect the phone.  If other phones on the 
same line work properly, the fault is in this phone or its installation.  
If you cannot find the problem, take your phone to your local RadioShack 
store for assistance.
