Service
IMPORTANT: Do not disassemble any Fujitsu cellular product. Return it to
your dealer or Authorized Fujitsu Service Center when service
or repair is required. Opening housings on Fujitsu cellular
products will void the warranty. For Fujitsu Authorized
Service Center locations, call (214) 690-6000, extension 805.
Troubleshooting
Your Fujitsu phone is designed for superior performance and ease of use.
We hope this User Guide assists you in obtaining the maximum benefits of
our technology and features. However, should you encounter difficulty, we
hope you will first review these answers to commonly asked questions. If
problems persist, contact your dealer immediately.
Q. How do I unlock my phone?
A. Your cellular dealer should have provided you with the 3 or 4 digit
Unlock Code assigned during dealer programming. Enter the 3 or 4
digit code (keypad tones are silent during entry). With a valid
entry, the display responds by clearing the "Locked" message. If you
do not know your Unlock Code, try entering the last three or four
digits of your cellular telephone number (most dealers will use these
digits if you do not specify a unique code at the point of sale). If
the phone remains locked, contact your cellular dealer.
Q. I have forgotten my cellular phone number. What do I do?
A. Press [#] and hold for 2 seconds. Your phone number is displayed for
ten seconds.
Q. Where do I get my phone repaired?
A. It is extremely important that you never attempt to service a Fujitsu
phone. Opening any housings on the unit or accessories will void the
warranties. Your Fujitsu dealer will assist you with any repair or
service needs.
Q. Where can I purchase accessories for my phone?
A. Fujitsu offers a full complement of accessories for your phone.
Contact your Fujitsu dealer for accessory pricing features and
availability.
Q. I do not seem to be getting the talk time and standby time I expected
from my battery. Why not?
A. Talk and standby times are approximate. Every cellular user is
different and varying usage habits can affect battery life. Batteries
are also subject to environmental factors, particularly temperature
extremes. Good recharging and discharging habits (avoid partial
charging) can also extend battery life. Refer to the About the
Battery section in Faxback Doc. # 52108 in this User Guide.
Q. Where can I go to get answers to my questions about features and
functions of my phone?
A. Most of your questions can be answered within this User Guide. Should
you have further questions, please consult your dealer.
Q. Why does my phone occasionally display "No Service"?
A. Traveling beyond the range of your home service provider or a
momentary poor signal can also cause "No Service" to appear. We
recommend you always fully extend the antenna for best reception.
