Getting Started

Please review the Safety Information section , in Faxback Doc. # 52110
before proceeding.

Note:  Your battery is shipped from the factory in a discharged state.  If 
your phone's battery has not been charged, please refer to the About the 
Battery section, in Faxback Doc. # 52108.

Turning Phone On

1.  Press ON/OFF.  Phone lights up and displays "On" and is ready to place
    or receive calls.

Turning Phone Off

1.  Press ON/OFF and hold for 2 seconds.  Turns phone off.

Unlocking The Phone

1.  Display shows "Locked".

2.  Using keypad, enter 3 or 4 digit Unlock Code.  Unlock Code is assigned
    during dealer programming of the phone. Keypad tones are silent during
    Unlock Code entry. If you make a mistake while entering, turn phone
    off, then on, and start again.  Should phone fail to unlock, confirm
    your Unlock Code, turn phone off, then on, and try again.  If problems
    persist, contact your dealer.

    Note:  If you do not know your Unlock Code, contact your dealer.
           (Dealers frequently program Unlock Codes as the last 4 digits
           of your telephone number.)

Placing a Call

1.  Extend antenna.  Provides best reception.

2.  Press [TALK].  Dial tone indicates you may place your call.

3.  Enter telephone number.  Displays digits dialed.  Automatically places
    call within seconds.

Answering a Call

1.  Extend antenna.  Provides best reception.

2.  Press any key (including [/\] and [\/].  Begin your conversation.

Ending a Call

1.  Press [TALK].  Terminates call.

Displaying Own Phone Number

1.  Press [#] and hold for 2 seconds.  Displays your phone number for 10
    seconds.
