If it is desired to remove the handset and transceiver from the carry
phone accessory for servicing, use the following procedure.

Step 1       Turn the unit off using [PWR] on the handset.

Step 2       Unzip the transceiver compartment.

Step 3       If your carry phone is equipped with a battery, unplug the
             cigarette lighter plug from the battery receptacle, and
             remove the battery from the transceiver compartment.

Step 4       Unplug the handset from the modular connector jack on the
             side of the transceiver.

Step 5       Slide the transceiver out of the carrying case.

Step 6       Unscrew and remove the antenna from the antenna port of the
             transceiver.  Remove the 0-ring from the transceiver antenna
             port.

Step 7       Unscrew the two thumbscrews on the front of the power cable
             and remove the power connector assembly from the transceiver
             by gently pulling it away from the transceiver front
             faceplate.

Step 8       Return the cigarette lighter connector assembly, antenna,
             o-ring, thumbscrews, and battery (if equipped) into the
             carrying case for safekeeping.

Reverse the above procedure to re-assemble.
