Scroll over to the Message Menu for easy access to your message settings.
Some Service Providers offer Digital Message Services which allow you to
use your cellular phone like a pager. Ask your Service Provider for
information about the availability of messaging in your area.
In this chapter you will learn how to:
adjust the speed of your scrolling messages
convert the dedicated Message Key into a One-Touch Dialing key
Note: Follow thee symbols as a guide for using the keys on the side
of your phone.

Getting to the Message Menu
1. Press [FCN] then press [Smart Button] to enter the menu system.
2. Press [Volume Up] or [Volume Down] to scroll to Message and press
[Smart Button] to select.
3. Press [Volume Up] or [Volume Down] to scroll to the following
features:
Set Scrolling Speeds
Match your reading pace by choosing from three scrolling speeds.
To adjust the scrolling speed:
4. Press [Smart Button] to select Scrolling Speeds.
5. Press [Volume Up] or [Volume Down] to scroll between Slow Scrolling,
Medium Scrolling, or Fast Scrolling.
6. Press [Smart Button] to select the displayed option.
7. Press [END] to exit the menu, or you may scroll to other features.
Message Key Options
If you don't have access to a messaging service, your dedicated Message
key can be used as a third One-Touch Dialing key. See Faxback Doc.

4. Press [Smart Button] to select Message key Options.
5. Press [Smart Button] to toggle between Short Messaging or One-Touch
Dialing.
6. Press [END] to exit the menu, or you may scroll to other features.
