If the power does not come on or stay on:

    Make sure the battery is properly installed and charged.

    Be sure the contacts on the battery and the charging stand are clean.
    If they are not, clean them with a soft cloth or pencil eraser.

    The battery charge might be too low for operation.  Check the display
    and listen for the low battery warming tone.

If the power comes on, but the phone does not work:

    Make sure the antenna is properly installed and extended to its full
    length.

    Check to see if there is an error message on the display after turning
    it on.  If so, contact your local RadioShack store for assistance.

If the phone displays NO SERVICE:

    You are out of the cellular service area and you cannot make calls.

    You have chosen Home Only (see "Setting the Cellular System Type" in
    Faxback Doc. # 47394) and you have left your Home System.
