Cleaning
Clean the unit only with a damp cloth moistened with a mild detergent and
water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or any type of solvent which may
affect the unit's finish.
Antenna Replacement
Under normal conditions, your extendible antenna should never need
replacement. If, however, replacement becomes necessary, return the unit
only to a qualified repair facility.
External Connector
The metal contacts of the External Connector may have a cover to prevent
debris from getting in. To remove the cover, insert a small pry such as
a paper clip into the slot and apply pressure outward.
Before Calling for Service
Is the unit locked?

Is NoSvc lit?

Is a unique operating mode programmed?
Constant flashing of Roam while in your home service area may indicate
that an incompatible System Type has been selected. See System Type

Is the unit operating with non-standard settings?
You may have inadvertently selected improper operating characteristics

Have you selected the wrong home system?
If your unit is programmed for Two Telephone Number Capability, press
[RCL], [#] to display the active telephone number. See Two Telephone
Number Capability on Faxback Doc. # 46527.
Have you charged the battery?
Charge the battery with the internal charger. Make sure the charging
LED is lit. See internal Charging on Faxback Doc. # 46526.
