Using Memory Dialing
Storing a Number in Memory
You can store up to 30 telephone numbers in your cordless telephone's mem-
ory. Each number can have up to 16 digits. Pressing [PAUSE] or [LDT] counts
as one digit in memory.
When Programming Emergency Numbers and/or Making Test Calls To Emergency
Numbers: Remain on the line and briefly explain to the dispatcher the
reason for the call before hanging up.
Perform such activities in off-hook hours, such as early morning hours or
late evening.
1. Be sure the MODE switch on the base unit is in the correct position,
and the telephone is not being used (TALK indicator is off.)
2. Press [STORE]. Two short beeps sound and IN USE indicator lights when
the telephone enters the store mode.
3. Enter your desired phone number. A tone sounds each time you press a
button. Include any pause or LDT entries.
4. Press [MEMORY].
5. Enter a two-digit number from 01 - 30. The telephone number entered in
Step 3 is now stored in the two-digit memory location. The telephone
sounds two short tones to confirm the number was stored.
6. To store additional numbers, repeat Steps 2 through 5.
If you make a mistake while entering a number, simply start again from Step
2.
You cannot make an outgoing call while you are storing numbers. But, if the
telephone rings, you can answer the call by pressing [TALK]. The telephone
does not save the number you were storing in memory.
To delete a number from memory, follow the above steps, and do not enter a
telephone number in Step 3.
