CONNECTING PHONE TO CAR IGNITION

1. Connect one end of the supplied blue ignition sensor wire to the IS
position on the power cable connector and the other end to the car's
    ignition switch.

2. Connect the power cable connector to the jack on the transceiver. If
this doesn't work, check connections and then check the fuses.

Horn Alert Kit (170-0704) Connections

1. Select a suitable mounting location for the control box (usually under
    the dash).

2. Using the horn alert's control box as a template, mark and drill mount-
ing holes in the mounting surface. Be sure you do not damage any parts
    of the vehicle.

3. Attach the control box using the supplied, self-tapping screws.

4. Connect the control box's Orange wire to he car horn's positive (+)
terminal. The Orange wire's special connector and the supplied crimp
connectors provide a secure connection for the horn wire in most
vehicles. Then, connect the horn wire to the Orange wire's piggy-back
    connector.

5. Connect the control box's Red wire to the car battery's (+) terminal or
to a fuse box terminal that provides power when the vehicle's ignition
    is off.

6. Connect the control box's Blue wire to a fuse box circuit that supplies
power only when the ignition is on.

7. Connect the control box's Black wire to the vehicle's chassis ground.

8. Connect the control box's Power Cable to the CT-102 cellular telephone.
Push the Yellow wire's pin connector into the power cable's Horn Alert
casing (the wire does not connect to any terminal).

NOTES: You must connect the control box's Black wire to the vehicle's metal
       chassis, not a plastic part.

Newer vehicles have more plastic parts under the hood than older
vehicles. Be sure that the Black wire is connected to a metal part
of the vehicle's chassis. If your horn alert kit does not work,
       check your ground connection.
