OUT OF RANGE INDICATIONS

If the handset is moved where the base and handset cannot communicate, the
handset beeps rapidly to signal theat it is out of the base's range.

During a Call

If the handset is moved out of the base's range when you are making or
receiving a call, the handset beeps 2 times a second for about 30 seconds.
If you move the handset closer to the base within about 30 seconds, the
handset automatically stops beeping and you can continue the call. If you
do not move the handset closer to the base within about 30 seconds, the
current call is disconnected.

While a Call is Not in Progress

If the handset is moved out of the base's range when you are making or
receiving a call, the handset beeps several times every 15 to 20 seconds.
If you move the handset closer to the base within 15 to 20 seconds, the
handset automatically stops beeping. To manually stop the handset from
beeping, press OFF.
