Using Memory Dialing

The memory-dialing feature lets you store and speed dial up to 30 telephone
numbers using two-digit codes (01 - 30). You can store up to 32 digits in
each memory location.

Storing a Number

To store a number in memory, do the following:

1. Enter the phone number you want to store.

If you make an error, press CLR to erase the last digit entered, or
press SEL CLR to clear the entire display. Then, enter the correct
    number.

2. Press SET STO. STO - appears on the display's lower row and the last
eight digits of the phone number appear on the upper row.

3. Enter the two-digit code (01 - 30) you want to use for the displayed
number. Then, press SEL to immediately store the number, or wait 5
seconds for the number to be automatically stored.

If the display briefly clears and the code number returns to the dis-
    play, the number is stored.

If you enter a code that is not between 01 and 30, not FOUnd appears on
    the display.

If you have already stored a number using the code number, rEPLACE
ContEnt appears on the display. Press SEL within 10 seconds to replace
the previously stored number with the new one. If you do nothing within
10 seconds, StorE not donE appears and the phone number returns to the
    display.

You cannot store a number if the phone is locked.

If you want to store the number into the first empty memory location,
enter the phone number. Then, press SEL STO SEL. The first empty
memory location appears on the display for a few seconds. Press SEL to
immediately store the number, or wait 10 seconds for the number to be
automatically stored. In either case, the display clears.

You can store the number in a specific group of memory locations.

       Group 0 = 1 - 9

       Group 1 = 10 - 19

       Group 2 = 20 - 29

Press SEL STO group number * after Step 1. The first empty memory
location in the group you selected appears.

If all memory locations in the group are full, no SPACE appears on the
    display. Return to Step 2.

You can also store a number in memory location 30. This location is
reserved for a number you might want to dial when the phone is locked.

NOTE: Memory location 30 is the ONLY number that can be dialed if the
           phone is locked.

If all memories are full, no SPACE appears on the display. Then, the
phone number returns to the display. To store the number, return to
    Step 2.

If StorE not donE appears on the display, return to Step 2.

To change the Lock Code:

1. Press SEL 5.

2. Enter Security Code. If correct, UnLOC CodE is displayed. If wrong,
    display clears.

3. Press SEL to check the current code.

4. Enter new code.

5. Press SEL to store the new code.
