ET-400 DUoFONE Cordless Telephone System
(430-0550B) Preparation Faxback Doc. # 16894

IMPORTANT: The ET-400 has been approved for direct connection to the
telephone lines. However, before making this connection the
owner must notify the telephone company of the FCC registration
and ringer equivalent numbers. Both of these numbers appear on
the label on the bottom of the Base Unit.

NOTE: The ET-400 must not be connected to:

       - Coin-operated systems
       - Party-line systems

WARNING: To prevent fire or shock hazard, and/or damage to the units, do
not expose the Handset or Base Unit to rain or moisture.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The ET-400 Cordless Electronic Telephone operates on
standard radio frequencies, as allocated by the FCC. Even
though the security code feature of the ET-400 prevents
unauthorized use of a phone line, it is possible for other
radio units operating on similar frequencies within a
certain area to inadvertently intercept conversations
and/or cause interference on this cordless telephone.
This lack of privacy can occur with any cordless
                 telephone.
