phone to your local Radio Shack store for assistance.

PROBLEM REMEDY

Low volume or unusual sounds. Someone has picked up another phone
on the same line. Hang up the other
                                       phone.

Severe noise interference. Press CH to change the channel.

                                       Keep the handset away from
                                       computers, remote control toys,
                                       wireless microphones, alarm systems,
                                       intercoms, and room monitors,
                                       fluorescent lights, and electrical
                                       appliances.

Move to another location or turn off
                                       the source of interference.

or noisy (handset's range has
decreased). Return the handset to the cradle,
                                       and recharge the battery.

Be sure neither antenna is touching
                                       a metal surface.

The phone does not work or Be sure the base's phone line cord
works poorly. and AC adapter are correctly and
                                       securely connected.

The handset stops working or Move the handset closer to the works
poorly during a call. base.

Be sure the handset's battery is
charged. (If the battery power is
too low, it does not have enough
power to light the LOW BATT
                                       indicator.)

Fully extend the base's antenna, and
place it in a fully vertical
                                       position.

With the handset turned on, return
the handset to the cradle for 5
                                       seconds. This resets the channel
                                       and the automatic access protection
                                       code.

The handset stops working The static discharge protection
circuit may have caused the handset
to stop working. This feature turns
off the handset if the circuit
                                       receives a static discharge.

Remove the handset battery for 15
                                       seconds (this resets the circuit),
                                       then try again.

The call is too noisy. Change channels or hang up and
redial the number. If you still
                                       have problems, disconnect the phone.
If other phones on the same line
work properly, the fault is this
phone or its installation. If you
cannot find the problem, take your
phone to your local Radio Shack
                                       store for assistance.
