STORING A TELEPHONE NUMBER

The telephone has a 50 number storage capacity.  A stored number may
contain up to 32 digits and a name up to 8 letters.

1.  Enter telephone number.

    Press CLR if you need to erase a number(s) or letter(s) at anytime.

2.  Press F RCL/STO

    "STORE" appears on the display and the next available memory location
    (5 for example)

3.  Enter a memory location.  (11 for example) or use the one assigned by
    the telephone.

    NOTE:  If you do not want to enter a name, skip Step 4 and go to Step
           5.

4.  Press RCL/STO

    "NAME" appears and ABC (Alpha Mode) flashes on the display.  You can
    enter a name by pressing one, two or three times depending on the
    letter position in the key.

5.  Press RCL/STO again the save the name and number in the stored
    location.

If you try to store a number in memory location which already contains a
number, a short beep sounds and the word "USED" flashes in the display for
five seconds.

2 Choices

1.  Store in occupied memory location - Store a number in the occupied
    memory location by press RCL/STO (this erases the old number and name).

2.  Store in a different location - Store in a different location by
    entering the memory location you want.

HOW TO ACCESS LETTERS ON KEYS

ALPHA MODE - Letter position on keys:
             position 1; position 2; position 3

For example:  You want to enter the name JOE.

      Press:  KEY 5 once for J
              KEY 6 three times for O
              KEY 3 two times for E

MEMORY FULL

NOTE:  If you have forgotten a memory location and want to review names and
       numbers you have already stored -- enter a low memory location
       number and scroll forward by holding down the # key.

If you attempt to store a new number and all memory locations are in use,
"STORE? --" displays.

If you do not wish to store the number, press the END key or the CLR.

If you do wish to store the number, you can:

a.  Store the number temporarily in the extended scratch pad.  Press #
    (Pound).

OR

b.  Store a number and name in the occupied memory location (this erases
    the old number and name) by press RCL/STO (the same procedure followed
    when you get a "USED" message).

SPEED DIALING - A stored number can be called by entering the memory
                location and press SEND.
