| Step 1: Entering Program Mode |

| Press MENU. TEMPERATURE appears on the display. |

| Step 4: Entering Channel Setup |

| Press the RIGHT arrow key to enter channel setup. AUTO appears on the display. If you would like to setup the channel manually, press the UP or DOWN arrow keys and go to Step 6. |
| Step 5: Selecting Automatic Channel Setup |

| If you would like to keep AUTO
for your channel setup, press the RIGHT arrow key. CHANNEL,
and then SEARCHING appears on the display. If there is an
available channel, CHANNEL 7 and AVAILABLE
appear on the display. If there is not an available channel, NO CHANNEL,
AVAILABLE, BACK TO and CHANNEL
1 (the present channel) appears on the display. Then AUTO
appears and the Weatheradio beeps. Go to Step 8 to finish programming. |

| Step 7: Selecting Local Channel |

| Repeatedly press the UP or DOWN arrow keys until the desired channel appears on the display. In this tutorial, we chose CHANNEL 7. |
| Step 8: Confirming Your Selection |

| Press the RIGHT
arrow key to confirm your selection. A beep sounds and CHL 7 SELECT
(the new selected channel) appears on the display, then SELECT CH
reappears. Note: If you receive a NOAA broadcast on more than one channel, the one with the best reception might not be the one broadcasting information for your location. Go to Missed Alert Reminder to choose if you want Missed Alert Reminder beep on or off. Go to Storing FIPS Codes to program FIPS codes. |
| To find out which frequency NOAA is using to broadcast information for your location, contact a local RadioShack store or the NOAA Weather Radio service. |

| Step 3: Confirming your Selection |

| When ALL
LOCATION appears on the display, press the RIGHT arrow key
to select ALL LOCATION mode. RESPONSE LOC will
appear on the display. To exit programming mode, skip to Step 7. |
| Step 4: Selecting SINGLE LOC or MULTIPLE LOC |

| Press the RIGHT arrow key to choose SINGLE LOC or MULTIPLE LOC. LOC1 and 000000 appears on the display. |
| Step 5: Programming an FIPS Code |

| Press the UP or
DOWN arrow keys to choose the numbers (0-9) for the FIPS
code. Select the first digit of the FIPS code, press the RIGHT arrow key
to confirm the number you have chosen. Continue this process until you have entered the
entire FIPS code. If you make a mistake, hold down the LEFT arrow key for one second. All entries are cleared and the cursor returns to the first digit. If you are in SINGLE Mode the display will be the same as in Step 3 after you have entered the last digit for the FIPS code. Go to the next step if you are in MULTIPLE mode. Go to Step 7 to exit programming mode. |
| Step 6: Entering Additional FIPS Codes |

| LOC2 and 0000000
appear on the display if you are in MULTIPLE mode. Follow the same
process as in Step 5 to program up to 15 FIPS codes. Go to Step 7 to exit programming mode |
| Step 7: Exiting Program Mode |

| Press MENU. The Weatheradio stores all valid entries and exits programming. |
