Indoor Analog Thermometer/Hygrometer/Clock Tower
(630-1029) Installation Faxback Doc. # 60659

Installing the Battery

The clock requires one N size battery (not included) for power. We
recommend a RadioShack battery.

CAUTION: Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recommended
          type.

Install the battery as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) inside
the battery compartment on the back of the clock.

When the clock no longer accurately keeps time, replace the battery.

WARNING: Dispose of the old battery promptly and properly. Do not burn or
         bury it.

Note: If you do not plan to use your clock for a month or more, remove the
battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic
      parts.

Selecting a Location

IMPORTANT: The Tower is for indoor use only. Keep it away from direct
sunlight, heat sources (such as kitchen ovens, fireplaces, or
water heaters), or locations where the temperature reaches 120
            degrees F (48.89 degrees C) or higher.

Place the Tower on a flat surface, vertically or horizontally. You can
turn each dial by the recesses in its back so it is right side up in the
position you selected.

Setting the Time

Turn the knob on the back of the clock counterclockwise or clockwise to
set the current time. The thermometer and hygrometer are accurately
calibrated at the factory. You do not need to adjust them.
