Talking Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer
(630-1012) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 41795
Your Radio Shack Dual Display Talking Thermometer is an example of superior
design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for
the thermometer and enjoy it for years.
Handle the thermometer gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the
circuit boards and can cause it to work improperly.
Keep the thermometer away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature
wear on parts.
Wipe the thermometer with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents
to clean it.
Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always remove
old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic
circuits.
Modifying or tampering with the thermometer's internal components can cause
a malfunction and might invalidate the thermometer's warranty. If your
thermometer is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio
Shack store for assistance.
