Using your Thermometer

....is more than simple. Just press the center of desired button firmly.

    NOTE:

    1. Never press both Indoor and Outdoor buttons simultaneously.

    2. Don't mount the Thermometer on an outside wall or in the direct
sun or in the path of heat or air-conditioning vents. This will
result in invalid indoor temperature readings.

    3. Don't locate the outdoor sensor in direct sunlight either.

    4. If the Meter reads backwards, be sure to press the center of
button firmly. If reading still is backwards, check the battery.
Replace only with an Alkaline type, such as Radio Shack's Catalog
Number 23-553 for long life and constant voltage. For normal use,
the battery should be replaced once a year.

    5. Do not touch anything inside. The Thermometer is factory
calibrated. If meter readings seem incorrect, return the
Thermometer to a Radio Shack store.

        CAUTION:

If you do not need the full length of the external sensor cable,
do not cut it. Merely coil it up neatly. Also, do not attempt to
add a length of wire to this cable. To change the length of the
cable will upset the factory calibration of the thermometer.
