Replacing the Battery

Your Watch N' Learn comes with one CR-2032 button-cell battery for power.
When the display dims, the sound becomes weak or distorted, or the watch
stops operating properly, replace the battery. For the best performance
and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack battery.

WARNINGS: Keep the button-cell batteries out of reach of children.
Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.

Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or
          bury them.

CAUTION: Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recommended
         type.

Follow these steps to replace the battery.

1. Remove the watch's band.

2. Use a small screwdriver to remove the two screws from the battery
compartment's cover, then remove the cover.

3. Use the screwdriver to remove the two screws from the transparent slip
inside the compartment and remove the slip.

4. Remove the old battery, and put a new one in the compartment with the
    positive side (+) facing up.

5. Replace the slip and secure it with its screws.

Note: Be sure the rubber seal around the battery compartment is
correctly positioned before securing the cover.

6. Replace the cover and secure it with its screws.

7. Replace the watch's band.

CAUTION: If you do not use the watch for several weeks or more, remove the
battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic
         parts.

Care

To enjoy your Watch N' Learn for a long time:

Keep the watch dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.

Use and store the watch only in normal temperature environments.

Handle the watch gently and carefully. Do not drop it.

Keep the watch away from dust and dirt.

Wipe the watch with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.

Modifying or tampering with the watch's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your watch is not
performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for
assistance.
