Installing Batteries
WARNING: Dispose of batteries properly, do not burn or bury them.
CAUTIONS: Use only fresh batteries of he required size and type.
Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries
(standard, alkaline, or rechargeable) or rechargeable batteries
of different capacities.
Never leave dead or weak batteries in the Choo-Choo.
If you do not plan to use the Choo-Choo for several days,
remove the batteries.
Installing the Choo Choo's Batteries
You need four AA batteries (not supplied) to power the Choo-Choo. For the
best performance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline
batteries.
1. Use a coin to twist the slot on the battery compartment cover, then
lift open the cover.
CAUTION: The battery compartment cover is hinged. Do not try to remove
it.
2. Install the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
marked inside the compartment.
3. Close the cover, making sure it snaps shut.
Note: If the Choo-Choo moves slowly or not at all, replace the batteries.
Installing the Controller's Battery
You need one 9-volt battery (not supplied) to power the controller. For
the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack alkaline
battery.
1. Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it off to remove
it.
2. Place a fresh battery in the compartment matching the polarity symbols
marked inside.
3. Replace the cover, making sure it snaps into place.
If the motor runs but the Choo-Choo does not respond to the controller,
replace the battery.
