INSTALLING BATTERIES

The workshop's power drill requires 2 AA batteries for power.  For the
best performance and longest life, we recommend alkaline batteries such as
RadioShack Cat. No. 23-557.

CAUTIONS:
  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
  Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries 
(standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of
different capacities.

Follow these steps to install batteries in the power drill.

1.  Use a Phillips screw driver to remove the screws on the battery
    compartment cover, then slide the cover off.

2.  Install the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the polarity
    symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

3.  Replace the cover, then reinsert and tighten the screws.
