INSTALLING BATTERIES

You need four AA batteries (not supplied) to operate the Ready! Set! Go!.
We recommend alkaline batteries, such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-552.

CAUTIONS:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended
           type.

           Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries
           (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable
           batteries of different capacities.

Follow these steps to install batteries.

1.  Press and slide the battery compartment cover on the base in the
    direction of the arrow to remove it.

2.  Install the batteries in the battery compartment as indicated by the
    polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

3.  Replace the cover.

When the lights dim or the sound weakens, replace the batteries.

CAUTIONS:  If you do not plant or use the Ready! Set! Go! for a week
           or more, remove the batteries.

           Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.  Do not
           bury or burn them.
