(600-2612) Calculator Faxback Doc. # 50819

Object: Learn calculator functions.

Note: Only one person at a time can use Calculator.

Play: Use the function keys (rows Q-P and A-L with the Calculator to
perform standard arithmetic and trigonometric calculations. Simply
enter your problem then press ENTER or =. The Laptop calculates it
for you and shows the answer on the last display line.

Calculator Tips

Press AC (all clear) to cancel the last entry or clear the display for the
next calculation.

If the result of a calculation is more than 14 digits long or if you try
to divide a number by 0, --E-- (error) appears. If this happens, press AC
once to clear the display.

Standard Calculations

For standard calculations, press the keys in the order the calculation
would appear on paper. For example:

    YOU PRESS: YOU SEE:

     3 + 4 = = 7
     3 - 4 = = - 1
   8 x 3 - 4 = = 20

Memory Calculations

The memory calculation feature lets you easily do multi-step calculations.

Use the memory keys as follows:

Press M in to store a displayed value in memory.

Press MR to recall the memory value.

Press M+ to total a calculation and add its value to the value in memory.

Press M- to total a calculation and subtract its value from the value in
  memory.

For example:

      YOU PRESS: YOU SEE:

  23 + 45 + 78 = M+ M = 146
                            23 + 45 + 78
                          =

  AC M = 146
                          =

  34 - 78 = M+ M = 102
                            34 - 78
                          =

  AC M = 102
                          =

  23 - 6 + 9 = M- M = 76
                            23 - 6 + 9
                          =
