Try your luck playing for points with the RadioShack Deluxe Slot game.

Your Slot game has three electronic "reels" that contain single, double,
triple, and crisscross "bars" and blank spaces.  The object of the game is
to spin the reels and get three single, double, triple, or crisscross
bars, or a combination of any three bars across one or more of the reels,
(See "Scoring" below.)

Follow these steps to play the Slot game.

1.  If the Slot game is off, press SPIN to turn it on.  The last game's
    point total and BAR positions appear, and BET and GAME OVER flash on
    the display.

    Notes:  If you stop playing the game for about 2-3 minutes, the Slot
            game automatically turns off to save battery power saying the
            last game's settings and point total in memory.

            You can turn off the automatic power-off feature.  While GAME
            OVER flashes hold down NEW GAME for about 3 seconds.  The
            reels spin periodically, but the game does not turn off
            automatically.  To turn the automatic power-off feature back
            on, with GAME OVER flashing, hold down NEW GAME for about
            3 seconds again.

2.  To start play, press BET once to bet 10 points (pays on line 1), or
    hold down BET to bet more points (for example, 20 points for lines
    1 and 2, or 30 points for lines 1, 2, and 3).

    Notes:  To place the maximum bet of 50 points (pays on all lines),
            press MAX.BET.

            To bet 10 points automatically, press SPIN.

            If you press MAX.BET when you have less than 50 points, the
            Slot game bets all remaining points (up to 40 points for lines
            1, 2, 3, and 4; 30 points for lines 1, 2, and 3; and so on).

The Slot game automatically deducts the points you bet from the total on
the display.  The lines you bet on appear on the left of the display.

3.  If you place the maximum bet of 50 points, or you press SPIN to bet
    10 points automatically, the reels start spinning.

    Otherwise, press SPIN again so the reels start spinning.

    If you win, WIN and the winning line combination(s) flash on the
    display, and the game automatically adds the points you won to your
    total.  Then BET and GAME OVER flash on the display.  To play again,
    repeat Steps 2-3.

    If you lose, BET and GAME OVER flash.  To play again, repeat Steps
    2-3.

    Notes:  To speed up the pace of the Slot game after a win and begin
            the next spin faster, you can press SPIN, BET, or MAX.BET
            while the Slot GAME is adding the points you have won to your
            total.

            The game ends when you have no points left to bet.

            To start a new game when BET and GAME OVER flash on the
            display, hold down NEW GAME until 500 appears on the display.

            The game displays up to 19,999 points.  If you get more than
            19,999 points, the display still shows 19,999, but all extra
            points you won are stored in memory.  If your point total
            drops below 19,000, the display shows the correct total again.

SCORING

This chart lists the winning combinations and points awarded for each,
based on a bet of 10 points.

TURNING SOUND ON AND OFF

Each time you install a battery or reset the Slot game, it is
automatically set to play sound effects.  To turn off the sound effects
at any time during play, press SOUND so that a crossed-out speaker symbol)
appears on the display.  To turn the sound effects back on, press SOUND
again so that the crossed-out speaker symbol disappears from the display.
