Playing The Game

1.  Press [TURBO] to select Game 1 or Game 2.  G1 or G2 appears on the
    display.  You play Game 1 and Game 2 the same way;  Game 2 is simply a
    faster version of play.

2.  Press [START] to start the game.

3.  At either level of play, press [LEFT], [RIGHT] or [TURBO] to start the
    action of your first racer.

4.  Press [LEFT] or [RIGHT] to change lanes and avoid crashing into other
    racers.

5.  Press and hold [TURBO] to move your racer faster and pass other racers.
    Each time you pass a racer, you score 1 point.

    Note: Your racers speed is shown on the top left corner of the display.

6.  Press and hold [TURBO] for 3 seconds to accelerate your racer to turbo
    speed (290).  You score 10 points.  TURBO appears on the top right
    corner of the display.

7.  Release [TURBO] to decelerate if you find you are too close to the racer
    in front of you.

8.  If you crash into a racer in front or behind you, a helmet appears on
    the left of the display.

9.  Press [LEFT], [RIGHT] or [TURBO] again to start your next racer.

10. If you crash three times, the game is over. Three helmets and GAME OVER
    appears on the display.

Notes:  The maximum score is 1999.  After reaching 1999 points, your turbo
        raceway game automatically starts a new game from 0 points.

        If you do not press any keys within about 1 minute, the game
        automatically returns to the demonstration mode and normal time
        display.
