Installing The Battery

Before you play the game for the first time you must install an AA battery.
Whenever the display becomes dim or the game operates erratically, replace
the battery.  We recommend that you install a long-lasting battery such as
RadioShack's alkaline battery (Cat. No. 23-552).

1.  Remove the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow on
    the back of the unit.

2.  Remove the old battery, if necessary, and insert a new AA battery,
    observing the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the battery
    compartment.

3.  Replace the battery compartment cover.
