Installing The Battery

Your Championship Golf game comes with a 357A button cell battery you must
install before playing the game.  Follow these steps to install the
battery.
        
   1.  Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery
       compartment cover, then slide the cover in the direction of the
       arrow.

   2.  Insert the 357A button-cell BATTERY (packaged separately) with the
       positive (+) side facing up.  After you install the battery, the
       display shows the demonstration mode.

       CAUTION:  Use only a fresh battery of the required size and type.

   3.  Replace the cover and secure it firmly with the screw.

When the display dims, replace the battery.  We recommend RadioShack Cat.

WARNING:  Do not allow young children to play with the battery.  A button-
          cell battery can be harmful or fatal if swallowed.

CAUTIONS:

   Always dispose of an old battery promptly and properly.  Do not bury or
   burn it.

   Never leave a dead, old, or weak battery in Championship Golf.  A 
   battery can leak chemicals that can corrode electronic circuits.

   If you do not plan to use Championship Golf for a month or more, remove
   the battery.
