Removing The Pivot Shaft

Remove the bushing. Then, you can remove the pivot shaft. For reinstall-
ation, we recommend you obtain a new pivot shaft (RK-0008).

Installing a Pivot Shaft Set

The rubber washers on the front and rear suspension act as shock absorbers.
You can adjust the shock absorbing action by tightening or loosening the
nylon nuts. In most cases, use a tighter adjustment when racing on rough
surfaces and a looser adjustment when racing on smooth surfaces.

NOTE: Adjustment of the nylon nuts is especially important for the front
suspension. If they are too loose, the suspension arm might come off
during racing. If they are too tight, they might make the racer
difficult to drive in a straight line.
