You need one AAA battery to power your Blackjack game.  For extra long
life, use an alkaline battery, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.

Follow these steps to install a battery.

1.  To remove the battery compartment cover, press and slide the cover in
    the direction of the arrow.

2.  Insert one AAA battery as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
    marked inside the battery compartment.

    CAUTION:  Use only a fresh battery of the required size and type.

3.  Replace the cover.

    NOTES:  When the display dims or the sound weakens, replace the
            battery.

            If the game does not work properly, reset it by removing and
            reinstalling the battery.  If the game still does not work
            properly, replace the battery.


TURNING THE GAME ON/OFF

To turn the game on or off, press ON/OFF.

To conserve battery power, the computer automatically turns off after
about 3 minutes if you do not press any keys.

Let 3 Minutes Timer Turn off Game To Save.

With one fresh battery installed, the computer can save the game status
and scores for months, so you can pick up where you left off in a game.


PLAYING WITH OR WITHOUT SOUND EFFECTS

Press SOUND to turn off the sound effects.  (((symbol))) disappears from
the display.

Press SOUND again to add sound effects.  (((symbol))) appears on the
display.
