TO SET THE TIME

1.  Press MODE to display the regular time - hour, minute and seconds.

2.  Press [MODE] 3 times until the seconds digits flash.  Then press [LEFT]
    to set the second digits to zero.  If when you press [LEFT] the seconds
    are 30 or more, the minute digit will advance by one.

3.  Press [RIGHT].  The hour digits flash.  Then press [LEFT] to advance
    the hour digits.  In 12 hour mode, "PM" appears on the display for PM
    time.

4.  Press [RIGHT] once more.  The minute digits flash.  Then press [LEFT]
    to advance the minute digits.

NOTE:  To rapidly advance the hour or minutes, press and hold [LEFT].

Now we will set the calendar.


TO SET THE CALENDAR

1.  After you have set the time, press [RIGHT] again.  The month digits
    flash.  Then press [LEFT] to advance the month digits.

2.  Press [RIGHT] again.  The date digits flash.  Then press [LEFT] to
    advance the date digits.

3.  To return to normal display, press [MODE] once.

NOTES:  

     If you wait more than 1 minute to press a button, the normal display
     returns.

     To rapidly advance the month or date, press and hold [LEFT].


TO SET ALARM TIME

1.  Press [MODE] twice from the normal display until the display shows the
    hour and minute with an AL signal next to the digits.  The hour digits
    flash.

2.  Press [LEFT] to advance the hour digits.  In 12 hour mode, "PM" will
    appear on the display for PM time.

3.  Press [RIGHT].  Now the minute digits flash.  Then press [LEFT] to
    advance the minute digits.

4.  Press [MODE] to complete alarm time setting and return to time setting
    mode.  Press [MODE] once again to return to normal display.

NOTES:

     To view the alarm time, press and hold [RIGHT].

     If you wait more than 1 minute to press a button, the normal display
     returns.

     To rapidly advance the hour or minutes, press and hold [LEFT].


TO READ THE DATE

1.  In normal display mode, press [DATE].  The seconds digits will change
    to show the date.

2.  Press [DATE] again, the date digits will change to the seconds digits
    which will advance normally.


TO SET THE HOURLY CHIME AND TO TURN THE ALARM ON/OFF

Press [LEFT] and [RIGHT] once simultaneously.  The hourly chime indicator
will appear on the top left corner of the display and the chime will sound.
It beeps once on the hour, every hour.

To turn off the hourly chime, press [LEFT] and [RIGHT] again
simultaneously.  The indicator will disappear.  At the same time the alarm
indicator will appear to the right of the display.  The alarm will sound
for approximately 20 seconds at the preset time.  To silence the alarm when
it sounds, press any button.

To set both the hourly chime and the alarm on, press [LEFT] and [RIGHT]
again at the same time.  Both indicators will appear.  To turn off the
hourly chime and alarm.  Press [LEFT] and [RIGHT] at the same time once
more.  Both indicators will disappear.


TO SELECT 12/24 HOUR MODE

At the normal display, press [LEFT].  The display will change either from
12 to 24 or 24 to 12 hour mode.  The change does not affect the month and
date setting sequence.
