Your game has 13 levels, each with a different mission and scoring.

Level 1

Mission: Evade the enemy's missiles and bombs.

Press L or R to move the fighter out of the way of the enemy's missiles and
bombs. (You cannot use FIRE at this level.)

If you successfully evade 32 attacks, you move to level 2.

You earn 10 points each time you successfully evade an attack. The highest
score for this level is 320 points.

Level 2

Mission: Shoot 7 fighters and the space castle.

Press FIRE to shoot the enemy's fighters. After you shoot 7 fighters,
(SYMBOL) shoot the space castle (SYMBOL)once.

If you successfully shoot 7 fighters and the space castle, you move to
level 3.

You earn 30 points each time you shoot a fighter, and 40 points when you
shoot the space castle. You also earn an extra bonus after you finish level
2, depending on how many missiles you have (see "Scoring").

Level 3

Mission: Shoot 7 fighters and the space castle (at a slightly faster speed
than level 2).

Press FIRE to shoot the enemy's fighters. After you shoot 7 fighters, shoot
the space castle once so it explodes.

If you successfully shoot 7 fighters and the space castle, you move to
level 4.

You earn 30 points each time you shoot a fighter, and 40 points when you
shoot the space castle. You also earn an extra bonus after you finish level
3, depending on how many missiles you still have.

Level 4

Mission: Shoot 7 fighters, then shoot the space castle 4 times.

Press FIRE to shoot the enemy's fighters, shoot the space castle 4 times so
it explodes. The first time you shoot the space castle, it begins flashing
on the display.

If you successfully shoot 7 fighters and then shoot the space castle 4 
times, you move to level 5.
 
You earn 30 points each time you shoot a fighter, and 40 points each time
you shoot the space castle. You also earn an extra bonus after you finish
level 4, depending on how many missiles you still have (see "Scoring").

Level 5

Mission: Shoot the space castle 4 times

Press FIRE to shoot the space castle 4 times until it explodes. The space
castle is protected by 4 carriers. The first time you shoot the space 
castle, it begins flashing on the display.

If you successfully shoot the space castle 4 times, you move to level 6.

You earn 40 points each time you shoot the space castle, and an extra bonus
after you finish level 5, depending on how many missiles you still have (see "Scoring").

Level 6

Mission: Shoot the space castle 8 times.

Press FIRE to shoot the space castle 8 times until it explodes. The space
castle is protected by 4 carriers.  The first time you shoot the space
castle, it begins flashing on the display.

If you successfully shoot the space castle 8 times, you move to level 7.

You earn 40 points each time you shoot the space castle, and an extra bonus
after you finish level 6, depending on how many missiles you still have (see "Scoring").

Level 7

Mission: Shoot the space castle 8 times.

Press FIRE to shoot the space castle 8 times until it explodes. The space
castle is protected by 6 carriers. The first time you shoot the space castle
once, it begins flashing on the display.

If you successfully shoot the space castle 8 times, you move to level 8.

You earn 40 points each time you shoot the space castle, and an extra bonus
after you finish level 7, depending on how many missiles you still have (see
"Scoring").

NOTE:  Levels 8 through 13 repeat the missions and scoring in levels 2
       through 7, but at a faster speed. When you successfully complete
       level 13, the game starts over from level 1.
