INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your Blackjack computer is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries (not
supplied).  For the best performance, we recommend alkaline batteries, such
as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555/558.  With two fresh batteries installed,
the computer can retain the game status and scores for months.

CAUTION:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

          Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries
          (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries
          of different capacities.

1.  To remove the battery compartment cover, press and slide the cover in
    the direction of the arrow.

2.  Insert the batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity
    symbols (+ and -) marked inside the compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

NOTES:  If you won't be using the game for a week or more, remove the
        batteries.

        When LO CELL flashes on the display, replace the batteries.

        If the game does not work properly, remove and reinstall the batt-
        eries.  (You might need to pry out the old batteries with a screw-
        driver.)  If the game still does not work properly, replace the
        batteries.

CAUTION:  Always dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
