TURNING THE SOUND ON/OFF
The slot machine is automatically set to play sound effects. To turn off
the sound effects at any time during play, press SOUND so MUSICAL NOTE
disappears from the display. To turn the sound effects back on, press
SOUND again so MUSICAL NOTE reappears.
PLAYING THE SLOT MACHINE
Your slot machine has five electronic "reels" with a combination of 7s,
bars, stars, and other symbols. The object of the game is to spin the
reels and get a winning combination to appear on one or more of the three
lines across the slot machine's display.
Follow these steps to play the slot machine.
1. If the slot machine is off, press any button to turn it on. GAME OVER
and/or HI-SCORE and the last game's reel positions appear on the
display.
NOTES: If you stop playing the slot machine for about 3 minutes, it
automatically turns off to save battery power, saving the last
game's settings and point totals in memory.
If GAME OVER and/or HI-SCORE do not appear when you turn on the
machine, this means that the last game was not finished before the
machine turned off (see Step 4).
2. You can "play the slots" in two different ways:
To start with 200 points, set GAME to A.
To play the game with your own coins, set GAME to B.
3. Press SPIN to start the game.
If you are playing with points, 200 appears on the display.
NOTES: If 200 (points) does not appear, press ALL STOP/NEW GAME, then
press SPIN again.
If you press all STOP/NEW GAME, the slot machine automatically
turns on the sound effects.
If you are playing with your own money, 0 appears. Insert coins in the
coin slot on top of the machine. You get 10 points for each coin you
insert.
4. Press the LINE button (LINE 1, 2, or 3) that you want to place a bet
on. BET appears and an arrow appears next to the selected line.
To place the maximum bet of 100 points on the selected line, press
MAX BET. The slot machine automatically deducts 100 points from your
total and adds it to the BET total on the display.
NOTES: If you press MAX BET when you have less than 100 points, the
slot machine bets all remaining points on the selected line.
The slot machine automatically adds 1/10th of your total bet
amount to the MEGA JACKPOT total on the display. For example,
if you bet 10 points on all three lines (a total bet of 30), 3
points (1/10th of 30) is added to the MEGA JACKPOT amount. See
"Winning Combinations and Scoring."
Repeat this step for each line that you want to bet on.
5. To start play, press SPIN. The slot machine's reels start spinning.
6. After about 8 seconds, the reels automatically stop spinning. To stop
them sooner, press ALL STOP/NEW GAME to stop all of the reels, or
press STOP in front of each reel you want to stop.
7. The slot machine lets you know if you are a winner as soon as the
reels stop spinning.
If you win, WIN and the amount you won appear, the red light on top of
the machine flashes, then an arrow flashes next to each winning line
(one at a time) and the machine adds the points you won to your total.
NOTES: The winning combinations and points awarded for each are shown
in the table above the slot machine's display. For a complete
description of each winning combination, see "Winning Combina-
tions and Scoring."
If BIRD SYMBOL appears on one of your bet lines, SPIN UNTIL
YOU WIN appears on the display, then the slot machine continu-
ously spins the reels until a winning combination appears on
that line.
The slot machine does not pay out the inserted coins when you
win. To collect your savings from inside the slot machine,
press the tab on the savings compartment cover, then remove
the cover.
If you lose, LOSS and the amount lost appear on the display.
8. If you still have points, repeat Steps 4-7 to bet and spin again.
NOTE: When your point total reaches 0, GAME OVER appears on the display.
To play another game, repeat Steps 3-7.
Winning Combinations and Scoring
To win the MEGA JACKPOT, you must get 7s across all rows on the display.
The point award for this winning combination is the amount currently shown
in MEGA JACKPOT on the display.
The following table shows all of your slot machine's winning combinations,

NOTES: SYMBOLs are wild. You can substitute a SYMBOL for any other
symbol on a line.
If X2, X3, or X4 appears along with SYMBOL in a winning
combination, the point award is multiplied by 2, 3, or 4.
Resetting the High Score/Mega Jackpot
Even after it turns off, the slot machine automatically keeps track of the
MEGA JACKPOT amount and the highest score ever reached in a game. To reset
the game's MEGA JACKPOT and HI-SCORE to 0, simply remove then reinsert the
batteries. MEGA JACKPOT 0 and HI-SCORE 0 appear on the display, and the
slot machine's reels begin to spin to demonstrate the game.
