PLAYING THE GAME
NOTES: Pass, Don't Pass, Come, and Don't Come bets can be made only once
per round. You have the option to make Pass and Don't Pass or
Come and Don't Come bets in the same round.
If you bet on Pass, Don't Pass, Come, or Don't Come then the point
is established, you are allowed to make a Free-Odds Bet for your
original bet amount. You can only choose the Free-Odds Bet once
for your original bet.
Once a bet is made, it cannot be canceled unless it is a free-Odds
Bets or a Place Bet.
Follow these steps to play the game.
1. If the display is off, press ON.OFF to turn on the game.
2. Press NEW GAME. Your opening bank roll of 1000 appears on the top
right corner of the display and DON't COME is OFF.
3. Press PLAYER.CHECK to choose a one-player game (one figure appears)
or two-player game (two figures appear). Either figure flashes to
indicate whose turn it is.
4. Press START. ENTER to start playing the game. A melody sounds, and
the display flashes PLACE YOUR BET OR DON'T BET and 1.
5. Select the betting options of Pass. Don't Pass, Big 6 Big 8, Field,
and any of the Special Bets.
Press PASS.DON'T PASS/COME.DON'T COME to choose between Pass and
Don't Pass.
Press BIG 6/8 to choose between Big 6 and Big 8.
Press FIELD to place a Field Bet.
Repeatedly press SPECIAL to place a Special bet on the table where
you want to put down your money.
6. When the is on the correct position, press BET+10 and BET+1 to enter
the amount of your bet. Each time you press +10, $10 is added to your
bet. Each time you press +1, $1 is added. You can bet up to $99
on each type of bet.
7. Press START.ENTER to confirm the bet, or you can press ENTER to cancel
it.
NOTE: You can cancel any bet before you press START.ENTER. After
you press START.ENTER, you cannot cancel any bet until after
you have rolled the dice and started a new round.
When a new round starts, you can cancel any Free-Odds or Place
bets that remain on the table by pressing SEARCH to search for
a bet, then CANCEL to cancel it.
8. Repeat Steps 5-7 for each type of bet you want to place.
NOTE: You can place up to eight bets in the same round. Each bet is
shown with a number on the right of the display. When you have
placed eight bets, DON'T BET appears on the display.
9. When you have finished betting, press START.ENTER again.
If you are playing a one-player game, ROLL appears on the display.
If you are playing a two-player game, Figure 2 flashes to indicate
that it is the next player's turn to bet. Follow Steps 4-9 to bet.
10. Press ROLL to roll the dice.
If the shooter establishes a point on the DON'T COME bar (if he rolls
a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10), ON appears on the DON'T COME bar. You can
press FREE-ODDS to place a Free-Odds bet and press PLACE to press
a Place bet.
NOTE: If you cancel a Free-Odds Bet before you enter it, your next
bet can only have a maximum value of what your canceled Free-Odds
Bet was intended to be.
If the shooter does not establish a point, you can repeat Steps
4-9 to make and cancel bets up to the maximum of eight bets.
Then the shooter can roll again.
11. Repeat Steps 4-10 to continue playing the game. The game totals
your score and adds or subtracts the appropriate number of points.
The game ends when all players are out of money.
Or, you can press ON.OFF to turn off the game before it turns it
turns itself off automatically.
Reviewing Bets
While betting, you can repeatedly press SEARCH to review your bets.
NOTE: If you have already pressed START.ENTER to indicate that you have
finished betting, repeatedly press SEARCH until PLACE YOUR BET OR
DON't BET flashes on the display. Then you can review and place
new bets.
To see the other player's bets and scores, press PLAYER.CHECK when
it is your turn to bet. Press PLAYER.CHECK again until PLACE YOUR
BET OR DON'T BET disappears from the display.
RESETTING THE GAME
If the game does not work properly, you may need to remove the batteries
and reinstall them. If it still does not work properly, use a pointed
object, such as a straightened paper clip, to press ACL.
