NOTE:  You need 4 AA batteries to power the train, and one 9-volt battery
       to power the controller.

POWERING YOUR CHOO-CHOO TRAIN

CAUTIONS:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

           NEVER leave dead or weak batteries in the Choo-Choo Train.

           If you do not plan to use the Choo-Choo Train for several days, 
           remove the batteries.

           Dispose of batteries properly; do not bury or burn them.

INSTALLING THE CHOO-CHOO TRAINS'S BATTERIES

You need four AA batteries (not supplied) to power the Choo-Choo Train.  We
recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552.  Here's
how to install the batteries.

1.  Open the battery compartment.  Push the yellow latch in the direction
    of the arrow and pull open the caboose's red roof.

2.  Put the batteries in the compartment.  The picture inside the
    compartment shows you which way to line up the + and - ends.

3.  Close the battery compartment cover and make sure it snaps shut.

If the Choo-Choo Train moves slowly, or does not move at all, replace the
trains's batteries with fresh ones.

INSTALL THE CONTROLLER'S BATTERY

You need one 9-volt battery (not supplied) to power the controller.  We
recommend an alkaline battery, such as Cat. No. 230-553.

1.  Open the battery compartment by pressing down on the cover and sliding
    it off.

2.  Snap the battery into the contacts, then put it in the compartment. 
    The picture inside the compartment shows you which way to snap it in.

3.  Replace the cover and make sure it snaps shut.

If the motor runs, but the Choo-Choo Train does not respond to the
controller, replace the controller's 9-volt battery.
