Your RadioShack Business Band Mobile Transceiver is a two-way business 
band radio service transceiver.  You can mount the transceiver in your 
vehicle for mobile use or install it in your office and use it as a base 
station.

Your transceiver has these features:

  Two Programmable Frequencies - you can program the transceiver to any
                                 business band frequencies you have a
                                 license to use - no crystals to buy!

38-Tone CTCSS (Continuous Tone - helps reduce interference from other
       Control Squelch System)   transceivers which are operating on the
                                 same frequency, in the same area.

          Earphone/Speaker and - lets you connect an external VOX headset
              Microphone Jacks   for handsfree operation or an earphone/
                                 speaker and an external microphone to
                                 ensure understandable communications in
                                 noisy areas.

      PLL-Controlled Circuitry - provides accurate and stable channel
                                 selection.

          BNC Flexible Antenna - lets you use the transceiver on a
                                 desktop.

   Built-In Modulation Limiter - automatically adjusts for a wide variety
                       Circuit   of voice levels to ensure an
                                 understandable transmission.

Note:  You must connect the supplied flexible antenna or a mobile or base
       station antenna to the transceiver to use it. Your local RadioShack
       store has a wide variety of antennas.

We recommend you record your transceiver's serial number here.  The number 
is on the transceiver's back panel.
